Book and visit Valpiedra Estate. This winery is a spectacular landscape that is distributed in three terraces that go down to the river itself, and which after years of work, its technical team has divided into fourteen different plots, with altitudes between 406 and 427 metres. Finca Valpiedra is located in the heart of La Rioja Alta, between the historic wine-growing towns of Cenicero and Fuenmayor. Cenicero is the municipality of La Rioja Alta with the largest surface area of vineyards and since the Middle Ages it has been practically dedicated to the monoculture of vines. In fact, both Cenicero and Fuenmayor still have some of the oldest wine cellars, dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, in what were then stately houses made of ashlars and belonging to the nobility.
