Rioja Alta Cenicero

Visit and make a reservation at Rioja Wineries in the town of Cenicero. Founded by the Artacho and Carreras families in 1890 and located in the town of Cenicero. In its 35,000 m2 of space, the old wooden vats coexist with stainless steel tanks. The building is crowned by the tower of a modernist castle, and also has an assembly hall, which hosts many cultural events. It is a clear example of tradition, competitiveness and reliability over time, whose latest venture has been the construction of a winery in Toro, Bodegas Torreduero. Throughout its more than 100 years of history, the winemaking systems have evolved, because at Bodegas Riojanas innovation is not at odds with respect for tradition. Being a classic winery does not mean making an old wine, and that is why the most advanced winemaking techniques have been incorporated to adapt to current market trends.

Rioja Wineries has an auditorium and wine cellar, but during your visit you will be able to contemplate a house founded in 1890, where you can breathe in more than a century of winemaking tradition. You will visit its original buildings, its winemaking halls, its barrel room, its bottle cellar and its "Sala de Sensaciones" where you can taste its wines accompanied by an aperitif of Iberian cured meats.
